Yes, $35 fee a year is too much for a domain!

I transferred one of my domain from Yahoo to GoDaddy just for this reason. Since last year, Yahoo also increased their Domain renewal price from $9.9 to $35. For new registration its still offering $9.9 for the 1st year or at the time of registration if you choose multiple year you would pay @ $9.9 per year. But at the end of your 1st initial contract you have to pay $35 for a year.

I transferred my domain to GoDaddy for only $6.99 with 1 year renewal.

Even NameCheap.com or/and Name.com are great, compare to $35 annual fee.

What is annual fee? Is there any difference between registration and renewal fee?

What do you mean by Bandwidth? (Your post sounds like you misunderstood it)

It's related with the volume of traffic and not with the speed, I think.
