Robosoccer is the trademark event of ISTE in reply to an increasingly competitive world which demands a careful amalgamation of scholastic and practicality. It is a one-on-one match where the robots compete against each other in the arena. Each qualifying match is of 4 minutes whereas the finals is of 8 minutes(In most of the competions). At any given time, the number of balls (regular tennis ball size) in the arena would be three and they have to be trapped only one at a time. While pushing the ball no part of the robot should enter the goal post, otherwise the goal would not be counted.An injury time of three minutes which can be used only once per game, is also provided(in case of some problem with the robot). Winners are suitably rewarded and the robot with the best among the rest design bags away the best design award.
