Default Can we have subscription to posted threads enabled automatically

I usually check for replys from the control panel. I thonk the threads we post reply should get subscribed automatically.
So that we don't have to subscribe manually in all threads.

Or is there any settings which i can set ? or am i missing something?

UPDATE: Found the option to enable notifications automatically, see this post http://viprapid.com/showpost.php?p=161&postcount=5
But we need to have this by default.

I checked the options in my control panel, but didn't found any option for that.
I can manually subscribe by selecting the "subscriptions" from the "Thread tools" at top of the thread.

Will have to mail the Admin then i'm afraid as on many forum's of which i am a member, it automatically subscribes you to any thread to which you participate within.

SORRY, i checked once again and found the option for this.

Its under "OPTIONS " from the left sidebar menu of "settings and options",
In "EDIT OPTIONS", there is a box with name "Messaging & Notification".
In that box, under the "Default Thread Subscription Mode", choose "no email notification to enable subscription without email notificatiion.

In most of the forums, thay will enable it by default, so i didn't knew that.
Admin should aslo set it by default.
